Free Home Pick-Up & Drop-Off for Foxdale Families
Getting your child to childcare should never be the thing that stands in the way of their education. That is why Foxdale Kindergarten offers a free home pick-up and drop-off service for families in the local area, bringing our little learners straight to our door and safely home again at the end of the day.
Our fully branded Foxdale minibus is a familiar and friendly face in the neighbourhood. Children love the ride, and parents love the peace of mind that comes with knowing their child is on their way to a day of play-based learning, literacy, STEM activities, and warm, nurturing care.
The service is part of our commitment to making quality early childhood education accessible to every child in our community, regardless of the barriers families may face. We believe every preschooler deserves the best possible start, and sometimes that means meeting families where they are.

Good News for Families: The 3 Day Guarantee
From 5 January 2026, the Australian Government introduced the 3-Day Guarantee, a significant change to the Child Care Subsidy (CCS) that makes early childhood education more accessible for families across the country.
Under the guarantee, all CCS-eligible families are now entitled to at least 72 hours of subsidised childcare per fortnight, equivalent to three days a week, regardless of their work or study activity. This means the previous activity test no longer limits how many subsidised hours families can access at the lower tier.
Families who work or study more than 48 hours per fortnight can still access up to 100 hours of subsidised care. Families caring for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children are also entitled to 100 hours per fortnight.
It is important to note that the guarantee covers subsidised hours, not enrolment. Families will still need to secure a place at their chosen childcare service and may be required to pay a gap fee, which is the difference between the subsidy amount and the centre’s fees.
If you are already receiving CCS, no action is required. Services Australia will automatically apply the new entitlement. Families who are new to CCS will need to submit a claim through myGov.
